  • Established in 1938, Berlin’s most established and well-known restaurant is the perfect place for tourists to experience life in the town. They have over twenty different kinds of pies that are available every day alongside home-style cooked meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Boyd & Wurthmann Restaurant begins serving breakfast at 5:30 a.m., so come in as early as you please.

Initially a grocery store, Boyd & Wurthmann opened in 1938. Just two years later, in 1940, the green counter (which is still there today) was fabricated to serve lunches and homemade pies. Coffee is still just 75 cents at this downtown Berlin diner that remains a must visit destination for both local people and visitors looking for a great meal.

While a great deal has changed since 1938, very little has changed at Boyd & Wurthmann.
Boyd & Wurthmann Restaurant is located on Berlin’s Main Street. Just steps away from the best shopping location Ohio’s Amish Country has to offer. The restaurant is smaller than most, so you will want to come early if you don’t want to wait!
